Krabi is a town facing Andaman sea located at west coast of Southern Thailand, but mind you, it's not an island. Their popular landmark icon is a errr crab as shown below. First and foremost, if you don't like to play with water, then think twice before booking your ticket to Krabi rather than asking why am I here later. Also take note that their raining season is between May - November, plan ahead if you don't wish your plan to be disrupted by weather. Nonetheless, you can appreciate the serenity more with the lesser crowds during non-peak season at a bargain. Pick your own food.

Appetizers:
No matter what your religious preference, you are not banned from visiting Wat Tham Seua 'Tiger Cave' Temple (Wat Tham Seua Khao Kaeo) which should be the most popular temple in town. Let us pray together for world peace.
Similar with Chieng Mai this town also offer activity like Elephant trekking try to squeeze some dole out of tourist, I wonder it's an act of cruelty or support to the elephants actually? Anyway if you have tried riding the elephant before then can press skip button. To kill time, tour guide may also try to bring you to their Marine fish nursery center though it's not exactly an eye opener, just go through the motions perhaps.
