When Food's GPS busy at work for lunch

Someone asked, how do we Malaysian put up with all the political nonsense at this bolehland? To me the tip of surviving lie in the abandon good food that we can look forward to each day.

For instance: Who will ever thought that we can find nice steamed fish at this unattractive restaurant sit right in front of SJK(c)KungMan Serdang where parking can pose a bit of problem.

Initial verdict: Of all the dishes ordered, the one that stands out definitely is the steamed 'africa' fish, no smell of mud and the visual appeal of the sauce with a bit mixture of greenish ginger and wine alone already make it a memorable meal. You need no more stimulus package.
Arguably, first runner-up went to pork that admittedly guilty with fat.

ok, that's all of the preview for this place, I shall reveal more of my review after second visit or having save enough money, whichever come first. Do expect Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi :)

Next experiment: How many time you can have lunch in a day?
Hmmmm ... may be twice Don't turn your head, it's possible.

... first started with spare rib rice (Hakka PaiKut) at this popular restaurant Peng Heong at Klang. It's something different but you may not feel like shouting despite the reputation of spare ribs king written on the wall (wonder accredited by who?). Other dishes available are: Assam Fish, curry mutton, claypot vinegar pig trotters and assam vegetables.
RM4.50

Then later my food's GPS lead me to Shah Alam Sri Muda to uncover this gem -- Restaurant Spring Golden. Good chinese food at Shah Alam? Hey GPS, you sure it's not late April's fool joke?

To ease your GPS here is the address in case you want to write to the chef: 25, Jalan Sepadu C, 25/C Section 25, Taman Perindustrian Axis, 40400 Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia

Not knowing what was good, followed my basic instinct with crossed leg I ordered Char Siew and roasted Chicken at RM5.80, my sixth sense surely not failing me this time, fooyooh! surprise! surprise! the pearl sparkling Char Siew outshine the lunch I had earlier. A restaurant without personality must need some special food to speak for itself -- here the signature dish ought to be the Char Siew.
So, in order to lure more jealousy, here are more pictures.

Satisfied lunch indeed and it doesn't need to be glamor or complicated. In short, a delightful discovery.

What is it for dinner then?
If you don't mind the taste of over-burnt rice's crust, Claypot chicken rice can be fulfilling, for stomach and soul.
Venue: USJ4 new Appolo coffeeshop
Price: Normal RM5; Big RM8.50

For any claypot chicken rice worth mentioning, existent of marinated Chicken drumstick or breast meat, Salty fish and Chinese sausage are a must, anything less will be un-claypot-rice. Not intended to dwell too much into it this time, since pictures already paint thousands words. Burppp ... excuse me, call it a day. Tomorrow is another day.
